Pack of 12 hotdog breads - $10 ($10 / 12 = $0.83)
Small Mayonaise (Used on about 30 hotdogs) - $7 ($7 / 30 = $0.30)
Small Ketchup (Used on about 30 hotdogs) - $5 ($5 / 30 = $0.17)
Onion - $1 / 20 = $0.05
Total Cost of One Hotdog: $0.60 + $0.83 + $0.30 + $0.17 + $0.05 = $1.95
Cost of a Local Hotdog = $4.00
Total Sales = $4 x 10 = $40
Total Expenditure = $1.95 x 10 = $19.50 (Of course we have to put in a little for gas and time, but . . .)
Profit = $20.50
Would you make a 100% Profit in about 1 hour if you put $20 in a bank? NOOOOOO!
